Merci à Paris pour l’exposition et les activités communes en février 2026 :

Grâce à notre passion et à notre amour pour le design et la construction durable : tous ensemble, dans un esprit d’intégration sans hiérarchie !, le Forum International Bois Construction 2026 à Paris – au Grand Palais, lieu chargé d’histoire – a été un grand succès !

Engagés pour les ODD : en particulier les ODD 5 et 17 : « Égalité des sexes » et « Partenariats pour la réalisation pour les objectifs » !

Et ce succès va continuer à grandir : une valeur ajoutée encore plus belle et culturellement plus significative grâce à de nouvelles coopérations de DIVIA en France d’ici 2026 !

Textile Codes #3 – International Design / Education

The publication about „Textile Codes #3“ is the third in this row with the theme about International Design / Education with case studies of Water-Management and COIL projects in special.

With „Textile Codes #1“ the first was invented in 2012 by Marina-Elena Wachs at the Hochschule Niederrhein about the topic of „Digital Codes“. Together with Professor and Textil-Designer Marion Ellwanger-Mohr the first accompanied the Symposium „Digital Codes – Textile Codes – analoge und digitale Designstatements am Beispiel der Falte und dem Prinzip der Faltung.“ (11.05.2012, Mg open spaces, Mönchengladbach, Germany).

The second „Textile Codes #2“ was created by Marina, together with Designer and Professor Ellen Bendt to the topic about „Knitted Wool Couture“, parallel to the project „Wool School“ at the Hochschule Niederrhein, in collaboration with „The Prince’s Foundation“ (today the King’s Foundation“) and The Woolmark Company.

The third „Textile Codes#3“ now gives an insigth in the paradigm shift of international design collaborations and -edcuation by COIL -Projects (Collaborative Online International Learning) and designing WITH the user. please finde an insight at:

In 2025 the EPDE Conference 2025 took place at University of Malta with the theme aobut: ‚Fostering Human-Centred Products and Services Design (OUTPACE)‘

The contribution by Industrial Designer Marina-Elena Wachs with the title: ‚Children Centred Hybrid Design Spaces – Next Resilient Designing Generation /-Lab‘ as publication and report was successfully discussed. EPDE – Enginneering and Product Design Education Conference – 2025 at University of Malta. thank s to the EPDE Conference organisation comitee for the worthful discussions all the year!

Collective Intelligence – How Diversity in Architecture Shapes the Future<

This titel of the opening panel discussion at Venice, at the beginning of Biennale Architettura 2025, is underlining the DIVIA – Diversity in Architecture – Goal. It was a pleasure to moderate at the Biennale, that takes place under the topic about:

„IntelliGENS – Natural – Artificial – Collective“. It was a brilliant evening with the finalist of DIVIA Award, that discussed their successful architectural ways in the past and the future to come. The panel was opened by Carlo Ratti – Curator of this year Biennale Architettura 2025 at Venice, together with Dr. Ursula Schwitalla, the heart and soul, director and founder of DIVIA.

In May 2025, together with Dr. Julia Röver, Marina-Elena Wachs guided trough the program within the „Corderie dell’Arsenale“. There, you can find fantastic advanced intelligent solutions for architectural concepts until end of Biennale 2025. The panel took place in preparation to DIVIA AWARD 2025 celebration next day at Palazzo Mora, where you can find the exhibition of the finalists until November 2025. The travelling exhibition will go to Vietnam, the location of the women architecture winner: Tran Thi Ngu Ngon. Congratulation!

Liebe Karin Schmidt-Friderichs, herzlichen Dank für die klaren Worte und mutigen Statements als Vorsteherin des Börsenvereins des Deutschen Buchhandels auf der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024!!
Das klare Signal, dass KI den Verlagen und Buchhändlern auch positive Chancen biete, aber auf dem „größten Datenklau der Geschichte“ basiere, hilft, die Urheberrechtsdebatte stärker in den Fokus zu nehmen. Viel wichtiger noch erscheint mir der Apell, hinzuschauen, dass jedes „vierte Kind die Grundschule verlasse, ohne richtig lesen zu können“, was als Grundlage für Teilhabe und Demokratisches Denken, die „precondition“ für NACHHALTIGEs Verhalten der Menschen und den wirtschaftlichen nachhaltigen Erfolg eines jeden Landes ist. Viele SDGs sind hier beteiligt… Lassen Sie uns dort mehr hinschauen, reden! und: Design Doing ist hierbei auch ein wesentlicher Faktor… Karin Schmidt-Friderichs ist für mich die Frau des Jahres 2024, in ihrer mutigen Position als Vorsteherin des Börsenvereins zu agieren und voranzugehen. WDC – World Design Capital – 2026 – at Frankfurt of Main Region, is be placed by the great engagement and success by Matthias Wagner K – Director of Museum für Angewandte Kunst (MAK) Frankurt am Main.
